We Are All So Thrilled

To be adopted is to be at the very center of a unique and sacred triad of individuals brought serendipitously together often under the most trying of circumstances.

Like a symphonic tone poem, this book is a story told in images of my own adoption during the Baby Scoop Era of the post-war 1940s through the passing of Roe v. Wade in 1973. It’s an evocation of moods and feelings, many of which defy verbal description for me. It’s my sincere hope that all in the adoption triad—or those simply curious about adoption—will relate to it in a personal way and find their own unique perspective.
